There are around 10,500 new pancreatic cancer cases in the UK every year (Cancer Research UK 2016 – 2018).
By the time most people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, it’s already at an advanced stage. It is the 10th most common cancer in the UK with poor survival rates with around 25 in 100 surviving their cancer for 1 year or more after diagnosis.
